Refund Policy

Just A Second Tax Service LLC is committed to providing professional, accurate, and timely services. Because many of our services involve professional time, government filings, third-party processing, or reserved appointments, our refund policy varies by service.

By purchasing or scheduling any service with Just A Second Tax Service LLC, you agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.

General Policy

  • Payment may be required before services begin.
  • Once work has started or a service has been performed, fees are generally non-refundable.
  • Government filing fees, third-party processing fees, convenience fees, and similar charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Approved refunds, when applicable, will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

Individual & Business Tax Preparation

Fees for tax preparation are non-refundable once we have begun reviewing your documents, preparing your return, conducting research, or completing any portion of the engagement.

If you decide not to file your completed return through our office after preparation has begun, you remain responsible for payment for the work performed.

IRS Tax Resolution Services

Fees paid for IRS tax resolution services, including financial reviews, document preparation, IRS Form 433-F preparation, representation support, and related services, are non-refundable once work has begun.

Because final decisions are made by the IRS or other taxing authorities, refunds will not be issued based on the outcome of your case.

Business Formation Services

Once business formation documents have been prepared, submitted, or filed with any government agency, service fees are non-refundable.

Government filing fees and state fees cannot be refunded after submission.

Payroll Setup Services

Just A Second Tax Service LLC provides payroll setup and onboarding assistance using Gusto's payroll platform.

Our payroll setup service may include:

  • Creating a new Gusto account
  • Configuring company payroll settings
  • Entering employer information
  • Assisting with employee onboarding
  • Setting up tax agencies and payroll preferences
  • Providing guidance on using the Gusto platform

Our service fee covers the professional time required to complete the payroll setup process and is non-refundable once setup work has begun.

Any subscription fees, payroll processing fees, tax filing fees, or other charges billed by Gusto are governed by Gusto's own terms and policies and are separate from the fees charged by Just A Second Tax Service LLC.

If you decide not to use Gusto after we have begun setting up your account, our payroll setup service fee remains non-refundable because professional services have already been provided.

Fingerprinting Services

Fingerprinting fees are non-refundable once identity verification has been completed or fingerprint collection has begun.

If an appointment must be rescheduled, it will be handled in accordance with the policies of the requesting agency and any applicable third-party provider.

Virtual Business Address Services

Virtual business address fees are non-refundable once the mailbox has been activated, identity verification has been completed, or mail service has begun.

Customers remain responsible for any outstanding service fees due under their service agreement.

Bounce Luggage Storage

Bounce Luggage Storage reservations are subject to the booking, cancellation, and refund policies established by Bounce.

Customers should review the terms applicable to their reservation at the time of booking. Any refund requests related to a Bounce reservation may need to be submitted through the Bounce platform, depending on the circumstances.

Just A Second Tax Service LLC is responsible for providing secure luggage storage while items are checked in at our location but does not determine Bounce's reservation refund eligibility.

Appointment Cancellations

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with reasonable notice.

Clients who fail to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice may be required to pay a missed appointment fee or prepay future appointments.

Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or made a duplicate payment, please contact us promptly. We will review the transaction and issue a refund when appropriate.

Service Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • Fraud or identity theft is suspected.
  • Required documentation is not provided.
  • A conflict of interest exists.
  • Providing the requested service would violate applicable laws, regulations, or professional standards.
  • A customer engages in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior toward our staff or other customers.

If services are refused after work has begun, fees for work already performed remain due and are generally non-refundable.
